My mom has hosted people ever since she discovered Couchsurfing when I was around 13 years old. Because of it, we've met amazing people and experienced awesome adventures. As well as we've been hosted in Brasil. We've developed long time friendships because of this website. Now I'm old enough to have my own account, I want to travel the world and meet amazing people, so there's that.
