Hi, I am Pamelo. Linda was my old name which my kindergarten teacher gave to me. Pamelo is my new English name which my friend give to me on 2023. She said it is more suitable for me. I’m a girl, but I like dressing like a guy. Once you meet me and chat a bit, you’ll definitely know I’m female. I’m not sure why some people use ‘he’ when writing a reference for me—probably just a translation mix-up 😅. I come from Taiwan, where people are very kind and friendly, and the country is full of beautiful scenery. I enjoy making friends and hope to connect with people from all around the world. Talking to people and getting to know them is one of my favorite things to do. I’m a bit shy and usually quiet. I’m not very good at talking, but I’m a good listener — hearing people’s stories is something I truly enjoy. Everything new to me makes me exciting. I like adventure and try everything I have never done before. I volunteer at the Fire Department as a paramedic in my free time. I love helping people and am willing to contribute myself to society. I’m also a fan of the gift economy philosophy. I believe that items are meant to be used, not owned, and skills are meant to be shared and taught. It's a good way to experience local culture. When I am traveling, I love to talk to local people, I think that is the best way to knowing this place deeply. I like to have a deep talk with people. That's how people get connections. People is always the only reason that I return to a same place. Here is a magic place that I can meet amazing people who like to take adventure and like to share everything. I used to be a CouchSurfer myself and have met some truly kind and generous people along the way. I became a host on 2022, and it has been a wonderful journey ever since.

2013 - Travel around the Taiwan by motorcycle 2014 - Go to Australia for working holiday by myself for three months and went to sky diving in Cairns. 2017 - Go to Machu Picchu to see the amazing view. Go to Amazon area to see the sky full of star and flying firefly. And swimming in the Amazon river with pink dolphin. 2017 - See the Milky Way in Uyuni and then see most beautiful sunrise 2018 - Go sky ding in Queens Town, New Zealand 2019 - Drink water from the Ganges River 2020(until now) - Become a volunteer in Fire Department as a paramedic 2022 - Travel around Taiwan by bike by myself 2023 - Successfully climbed Taiwan's highest peak, Yushan (Jade Mountain), 3,952 meters above sea level 2023 - Go back to Sri Lanka again in two months because of a girl

Introduce your country and culture to me, and share what your favorite things are. I enjoy listening and love hearing stories. I’m into deep conversations and can also talk to you about Taiwan. I’m learning how to become a balloon twister. I can fold balloons into different shapes, like flowers or puppies, and I try to sell them to earn some money for traveling. I love to play basketball since I was a kid. Until now, I play basketball with friends every Thursday. I love to travel. I love to explore beautiful scenery and talk to different travelers. I think every travelers has a lot of amazing stories can share. I start to diving since 2016. It is amazing under the sea. Peace and silent. I like to go bouldering. I can feel a sense of accomplishment after doing bouldering.
