i am an expat, living in Israel for 34 years, formerly in a community called Habonim, and now in a large city - Haifa. I raised 3 terrific kids, and for 25 years i was a Fundraiser for feminist and peace work. Since turning 60, i have been exploring self-expression and sexuality - been to Burningman and Midburn, Israel's Burn event. LOVE yoga, plants, fresh foods, unconventional ideas and people. I counsel young adults on issues related to sex/uality at Planned Parenthood in Haifa. I recently became a certified sex educator (more interesting than fundraising) and am in training to be a Somatic Sexological Bodyworker. I feel alive and connected to people and to what i am doing in my life, and love meeting travelers, and traveling myself. it's all one big journey.

I enjoy hosting people in my home, learning from them... Couchsurfing connects me to nomads who are down to earth. as i am. People who love culture, nature and people.

my son (24 at the time) and nephew(44) took me to BURNINGMAN in Nevada. Guess what? it was the most beautiful, extraordinary event i have ever been to, i loved it... anyone who has been, must agree, it is an amazing place. And for two years running i was part of MIDBURN. Israel's burningman.

My home. A gorgeous nature reserve 10 mins walk with a pristine beach...one of the most beautiful places in this country. - OOPS< now i live in Haifa, but i still can take people to see my home on the beach. In Haifa there is alot to see, and soak in. it has incredible natural beauty, is very green and multi cultural with interesting neighborhoods, great mediteranean food, and friendly people.
