Hey, I’m Pete! I’m an expat living in Beijing, China, for the past three years. Before that, I spent a decade in Bangkok, Thailand. I’ve been a Couchsurfing member for years, though I had to restart my profile after losing my account during the pandemic. Travel has been a huge part of my life—I’ve been lucky enough to explore many places, but there’s still so much more to see! I work in education internationally, which has been both a career and a passion. I love teaching, but I also love learning—currently (and very unsuccessfully) trying to learn Mandarin! One of my favorite things about traveling is meeting people, sharing experiences, and hearing the incredible stories that come with the journey.
