Ping, a 43-year-old Laotian from Lahanam village purchased five Rai (8000 sqm) of rice fields in 2012 with the plan to develop a sustainable farm. Located in a rural rice farming area conveniently 300 m from the Savannakhet (53kms, http://www.tourismlaos.org/show_province.php?Cont_ID=719) to Pakse(178 kms, http://www.tourismlaos.org/show.php?Cont_ID=25) road # 13. First step of development was to build a family bungalow mid property and a 2m high wall around the entire plot. A pond, Nursery, vegetable garden and fruit tree orchard are also being developed. Two farm stay rooms are available with two more under construction. A camping area exists with toilet and shower facilities.
