Currently in Calgary, Canada🇨🇦 I used to travel since I was a child. I took a gap year during getting my bachelor at Lomonosov university and moved to China. I have worked here as an English teacher for kids and also did Au Pair practice. After traveling around 30 countries I finally moved to Kyiv, where I’ve got a residence status. In Ukraine I feel like home. Because of the war I had to move to Portugal where I spent a year studying in the local university. Later, I left Europe and started traveling around the world again. Currently I’m residing in Canada but who knows for how long. I miss Kyiv very much and look forward to coming back some day💔🇺🇦

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I prefer hitchhiking and couchsurfing to normal ways of traveling first of all because of people. Getting to know other culture by making friends with locals is the best way to explore this country.
音乐、电影与书籍
Music depends on my mood. I prefer Russian and Ukrainian artists to foreign ones. I’m keen on reading since my childhood. I prefer books to movies📚❤️
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
I’ve had illegal trips to Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and Baikonur Cosmodrome. But don’t be afraid of me, I’m not radioactive! I’ve also hitchhiked around Central Asia in the middle of summer🔥
我的兴趣
Height and urbex are my passion. I’ve been a urbex-addicted for more than 15 years. You can see my Instagram @ptashka.yulya. My grandpa is a famous soviet mountain climber. I have climbed the highest peaks in Georgia (Mount Kazbegi 5033 m) and Armenia (Mount Aragats 4090 m in winter), hiked Annapurna Circuit Trek in the Himalayas and spent two weeks in Tian Shan mountains without seeing other people except random shepherds and poachers.
