I started hosting in Kisumu, Kenya where I just finished a year of HIV research. I'm now back in Seattle, and while my apartment is currently too small to host I'd love to meet up and show you around this great city!

I used Couchsurfing in Tanzania, and had a wonderful experience! I really enjoyed meeting people while I traveled, and seeing neighborhoods I wouldn't have thought to explore.

My favorite books include mostly non-fiction, such as medical anthropology, sociology, social history of anything, medicine, physical anthropology, etc. I love Oliver Sacks, Atul Gawande, etc.

I am interested in almost anything outdoors, including hiking, skiing, cycling, camping, backpacking, and swimming. Also, anything to do with healthcare--I'm a nurse myself, and have worked in global health, critical care, and nursing education. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies, and love to have dinner parties.
