Music: I have eclectic tastes, but a few things on heavy rotation recently include: Joanna Newsom, Dawes, LCD Soundsystem, Dessa, and Beyonce (LEMONADE AM I RIGHT). Books: A few things on the recently read, reread, or about to read list: The Foundation series, Americanah, The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and The Sixth Extinction. Movies/Shows: pretty much any movie set in space or about space, Orange is the New Black, Futurama, The Office, 30 Rock, Community
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
When I was in middle/high school I would occasionally sing the National Anthem at local minor league sporting events. Once, at a hockey game, I fell on the ice in front of approximately 10,000 people. Nothing like the sound of 10,000 people gasping at the same time! The amazing part is that I got back and sang the anthem without missing a beat! Plus, I got extra pity cheers.
