I haven't traveled much but have decided it's time to start seeing the world! Googling around to figure out what I'd like to see has made me realize that I don't really care about the destination so much as the experience; more exploring and discovering rather than sight-seeing. I'd like to find a quiet crash pad with nice people who would ideally like to chat over meals or hang out (hike, climb, explore the town, drive around backroads, etc).

My favorite is The Sea Wolf by Jack London but I'm currently on a Stephen King binge---which brings me to movies because I'm a big fan of horror movies, not sure why...they're like cognitive roller coasters I guess. :)

Love to climb, backpack, read, and poke interesting looking things with sticks. I'm a total foodie, would be thrilled to help out in the kitchen and learn a new dish! (Also of course happy to pitch in for groceries.) Like to grow things, as much as one can on a patio, but I'm not very good at it. I even kill basil. BASIL. Absolutely love dogs so if you have a furry friend I'll be thrilled. I can help with basic training dogs (avid rescue volunteer!) and horses.
