I'm Rishi Shah. I'm from India. I'm an electronics engineer that has just graduated. Engineering is a field that in my opinion opens up all the avenues of your life. It makes you realise what you really like and really wish to do (atleast in India). It's pretty fucked up. Anyway, I'm now out of it. Looking for my destiny. Working as an intern in an international conference in Switzerland was a refreshing cultural shock to to me. It has given me a new perspective about how tiny we really are in the Grand scheme of things. So it has whet my appetite for meeting people from cultures foreign to me. Having conversations with these diverse people has been one of the defining moments of my life.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I'm from the most crowded city in the world. Living in Mumbai is an experience of sharing. From cutting chai(sharing tea) to place in the local train, it makes you relish this experience of sharing. Couchsurfing is just another medium to do that. Thus, I would love to share my home with people and go to their places welcoming enough to share the warmth.

I love Rock music mainly. I don't mind Classical or any other genre generally, except for EDM. I'm a patient guy and do have a considerable endurance for that as well. I haven't read much in a while. I obviously like Fantasy and Science Fiction books. No young adult for me, sorry; but I do enjoy almost all kinds of books, from Philosophy to Fiction.

I was born. I came screaming into this planet. I have seen somebody die in peace. That is powerful. It's a waterfall of emotions mingled with an alien incomprehensible beauty which I can't quite enunciate.
教学、学习、分享
I can teach Hindi and Gujarati to anybody who asks me. Apart from that I don't have too much to offer. I'm always open to learning though. Anything and everything, I'm all years. I can always share my mother's love (Indian food) that I usually carry with me.

I can offer hosts a lot of love, food and some good company. My main reason to travel is to meet people from various geographies. I can have meaningful conversations. Apart from that, you just have to ask. I'll do everything in my power to make it happen.
我的兴趣
In engineering the one thing I have learnt is that I love movies. I enjoy watching them, judging them and making them. More on that later. I love food. Making and especially eating. I enjoy all kinds of food, but India has spoilt me, I like them a little spicier than most. I love singing and dancing, but I suck at both. So trigger that at your own risk. I'm am engineer for a reason, obviously I love technology and everything to do with science. I'm a geek.
