My name is Roel Romualdo Jr. I was born in California and have lived in Hawaii and Central California for most of my life. I am half Hawaiian and half Filipino. I am 20 years old and I am studying Economy and French at California State University of Bakersfield. However, I am currently in an exchange program (not ERASMUS) with Aix- Marseille University to learn French. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My first couch surfing experience was in Paris, FR. When I first arrived to the flat I was welcomed with drink to start off the night. We missed our concert and we were a bit down, but our Hosts were the best! When they learned that it was our first time Couch surfing and in Paris so they made it their objective to make it a memorable experience and it definitely was one for the books. We went clubbing until 3 in the morning, and rode bikes around Paris, roaming the wet, glistening streets made it everything seem like a dream.

I am not that big into film however I do enjoy a good Wes Anderson film or a Quentin Tarintino film here and there. For books, the latest books I have read and enjoyed so far: Black Swan Green, The Catcher in the Rye ( never get tired of that book), Looking for Alaska. As for music, I am a huge fan of music. I love Banks, The Weeknd, Little Dragon, The Drums, Beach Fossils, Childish Gambino, James Blake, Bob Marley, STWO,Young the Giant... the list can go on and on. I love music and all its forms.
