I am a biochemist by training, have lived in several countries and am a (long-term) travel enthusiast. I'm thinking of packing my bags and heading east for a year-long trip, but don't think it will happen for another year or two. So if I can't go to the world, the world should come to me ;).

I travelled in the US and Central America last year and met a variety of awesome, generous people. I now have a place of my own and would like to give back to the community and meet some interesting people in the process.
