We are Rose and Ernie. A couple as of 3 years ago. We love travelling - seeing cities from the eyes of the people that live there. We own House of Sharp: Artistry and Design, an artistic metal fabrication business that builds everything from custom LED signs to coffee tables and bottle openers. We are a rare breed of not-in-your-face liberals, being from the midwest. We are open-minded adventure-seekers, that get along with just about everyone, follow a strict do-unto-others code, and love the great outdoors. About Rose - I'm a 26 year old artist. I make money doing everything from graphic design, to building metal stuff, to portraits. I'm an outgoing, medium-to-low maintenance chick who loves to laugh, sing, cook, go camping, and, you guessed it, draw. I love trees (not meaning, THOSE kind of trees, but not opposed. lol), old houses, eclectic design, fru-fru coffee, diy, acoustic music, and sarcasm. About Ernie - I'm a 25 year old mechanical engineer. Recent grad from Wichita State University who hates writing bios like this. I'm a constant student. I love learning new things and going to new places. I love to work with my hands, and figuring out how things work. I love biking, kayaking, and basically any form of active outdoor transportation. Some of my favorite things are BBQ, machines & shops, and Game of Thrones. Also, we are super respectful of all of our hosts. We understand that opening your home to strangers is no easy thing. Couchsurfing is not a free hotel or system to abuse. We love getting to know our hosts, enjoying a new city, treating each hosting space better than our own.
