I perceive couch surfing to be an amazing way to immerse myself in foreign cultures by closely connecting with locals and putting myself out of my comfort zone. I love meeting new people and this system appeals to me as it brings people together who have a mutual appreciation for travelling.

I enjoy all music - though particularly electronic music (techno, psy trance and funk) and classical. I couldn't identify a single favourite movie or book but some of my favourites include, movies: silence of the lambs, les intouchables, the hunt and django; books: April Fool's Day, Hamlet, Ethan Frome and Infinite Jest
