We are Sarah and Daniel, 26 and 27 years old from Germany. We just finished our studies in linguistics and psychology and started our open-end world trip in February 2023 :)

We think that Couchsurfing is a great way to travel, getting to know new people and learning about them and their way of living. We've used Couchsurfing in India and not just made the best experience we could have asked for but also gained new friends, which we are so thankful for!

The highlights of our world trip so far include celebrating Holi in India, trekking through the Annapurna area in Nepal, road-tripping with our own Tuk Tuk through Sri Lanka, backpacking the Maldives, doing an orangutan trek in Indonesia as well as living with the Mentawai tribe in the middle of the jungle for five days. But in sum, we think that every travel that we've done so far has thought us a lot and we're truly thankful for every experience we could make!
