I initially used couchsurfing in college while studying abroad but have rediscovered it in the past couple years. It's such a welcoming community of world travelers - I love being able to connect with locals and have more authentic experiences where I travel, and paying it forward to others when they visit my city. This has led to several meaningful new friendships. I also love to practice languages when I travel or host. I've been learning Spanish, Portuguese, and Catalan. Interests include science, environment, policy, diplomacy. Really enjoy all types of experiences from nightlife to chill hangouts, city adventures to hiking, camping, going to the beach.
