I’m originally from Kyoto, Japan, now living in Boise, Idaho. I work in semiconductor production planning, but outside of work I’m usually exploring nature, taking long walks, or looking for birds to photograph. I travel often, sometimes with a plan, sometimes very spontaneously, and I really enjoy learning how people in different cities live their daily lives. I’m pretty easy-going, clean, independent, and I love good conversations - anything from travel stories to languages, culture, and food. I’m usually out during the day exploring, but I also enjoy cooking or grabbing a beer in the evening.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I like meeting locals and learning the small things about a place that guidebooks never mention. Couchsurfing has always felt like a more human way to travel - sharing stories, discovering neighborhoods, and exchanging perspectives. I’m also happy to host or meet travelers in Boise when I’m not away. It’s a quiet place, but there’s more nature, wildlife, and breweries than people expect.
音乐、电影与书籍
Music: classical (Chopin, Mozart), indie, acoustic guitar, Latin American and sometimes ambient when I’m traveling. Movies: anything with good atmosphere - American films, European films, quiet dramas, and travel documentaries. Books: travel writing, history, and whatever I find in small local bookstores.
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
Watching the sunrise alone at Glacier National Park after hiking before dawn - no people, just mountain light and the sound of birds waking up. It felt like the world was opening.
教学、学习、分享
I can teach Japanese basics, share travel tips for Japan or the U.S., and talk about birdwatching if you’re curious about local species. I’m always trying to improve my English and Spanish, and I love learning small phrases or slang from every place I visit.
我能与房东分享的
Good conversation, quiet respect for your home, and small things like cooking a simple Japanese meal or bringing local snacks/coffee from Boise. I’m low-maintenance and always try to leave a place cleaner than I found it.
