Hey my name is Skyler and I'm a 29 year old from the suburbs of San Francisco, CA. In January 2017, I made the move to Münster, Germany and after half of a year as an Au Pair, I worked as a hair stylist in a prestigious salon until 2022. Since then my boyfriend and I have been traveling and volunteering throughout Italy, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and many other countries! I would describe myself as very open minded, easygoing, and always down for spontaneous adventures. We are also massive foodies, so we love sharing our food culture and cooking together with different people. I always love to meet new people and I have a lot of curiosity to see what this world has to offer ❤️

I’m on couch surfing because I believe traveling is about living the culture as authentically as possible. What better way to do that, than staying with locals. Not only that, but I would love to make friends all over this world. 🌍

Techno, House/Psytrance would take first place even though I tend to enjoy all music. Moulin Rouge, Grease, and Chicago are some of my favorite movies because I can be a sucker for musicals from my upbringing. I also love all movies from Tim Burton, favorite is definitely Edward Scissorhands. But also classic horror movies. My favorite book that continues to inspire me is The Secret and I love all poetry books from Rupi Kaur. She is my current favorite 📖

If there is good music, I am there. When I'm in the city I love good food, cocktails, and wine.... But I definitely prefer nature, waterfalls, hikes, and viewpoints. I also love a cozy café where we can play games, have some coffee, and talk about anything and everything this universe provides us. Always up for a good adventure❤️
