I'm a 28 year-old girl from Quebec, Canada (french part of the country). I'm an elementary school teacher. I grew up in a small town and moved to the city for studies and ended up staying. French is my mothertongue, but I'm fluent in English and can understand a lot of Spanish, though speaking needs a little more practice.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is a great way to immerse myself into the culture of the countries I'm visiting. Meeting people is just the absolute way to really understand what a country/place is about. You always end up discovering amazing things you wouldn't have heard of if you were by yourself. It also offers a cheap and easy way to see as much as possible in a country and I'm always up for a low-budget trip haha !

Movies : The Fall, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, La belle verte, Desert Dancer, Across the Universe, 99 Francs, Les Choristes, Matrix, The Road Within, etc. Books : Earth's children - Jean M. Auel, L'équilibre sacré - David Suzuki, Fahrenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury, 1984 and Animal's farm - George Orwell, Alchemist and Eleven minutes - Paulo Coelho, 99 Francs - Frederic Beigbeider, etc. Just a few examples... I like a lot of different books.

Here are a few of the things that fascinates me : - Yoga, good healthy food (I've been vegetarian (tending towards vegan) for over than 2 years: It has been a long road of discoveries and I'm still learning a lot everyday. Always like to exchange about it with people from elsewhere in the world.), Dancing, Circus training, Reading, Watching documentaries, Cooking, Camping, hiking and everything outdoors, Teaching and learning !
