HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've hosted in Paris and Shanghai. I've surfed in China and the USA. Love both experiences! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE As a host, I try to be receptive and helpful. I like to share my knowledge and tips about the cities I have been to. I love to discuss about cultural differences and similarities, believes and values, food and drinks etc. As a guest, I always try to be of minimum disturbance. I love when my host can show me around, but if he/she has not time, I can definitely find my way with instructions.
