First learned about Couchsurfing back in 2010 from my friend Clark who used it just prior to a mountaineering trip we went on together in Alaska - he told me it was a cheap way to travel and more importantly that it was a great experience. Fast forward to 2015 when I first Couchsurfed - stayed with an absolutely awesome host in Zurich (s/o Stefan Bruderer!!), and ever since I’ve been looking forward to visiting more places in the future and to hopefully host some other surfers!
