Hi I'm Chen Hsi. Born and raised up in Taipei, Taiwan. I first started using couchsurfing was in my 19yr old summer(3months in Oahu,Hawaii), and that totally changed my life. After that I dropped out my Art University and start traveled in Asia for a year. After that I took a working holiday visa to Japan to stay for a year. Mostly living in Osaka, oh yeah so I speak a little bit of Japanese. Recently I’m back in Taiwan, working on my handicraft, henna tattoo, hair wrapping...... you know, some creative businesses. I also work as a tour guide to show tourists around Taipei. I like to be positive. I love people with a kind heart. My name in mandarin is the meaning of Dawn. So I want to be the light to end all darkness. I want to light up people and share the love. I was a vegetarian for over 5years. But now I am a happy vegetarian, means I’m not strict about what I eat. I eat meats if I’m with someone who eat meats. When I am on my own, I still like to enjoy vegetarian foods.

I enjoyed all kinds of music. Chill, psychedelic rock, roots, reggae, jazz, ambience....... I like to go to live music and have fun with friends! I used to watch a lot of movie and have a list of my favorite movies that I would like to share with you. My taste of reading books are changing since I grew up more lol. I used to read novels, but now I like to read about other people’s life experience or anything that inspired me.
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
Being an volunteer to teach children arts in the Tengger Desert of China. I was only 2 years older from my students at that time. We learn from each other. They taught me a lot about life. I've no shower for 2 weeks and was surprised to find out that I actually love living in the desert!(super slow life)
