I've lived in Fairbanks for seven years now. I bought a house up here three years ago. I love the area and I want to make sure you have a great time also, so if you have any questions, please ask. A quick note: Seeing the Aurora/Northen lights is not always possible. Clear skies and solar activity are necessary to see the lights. Generally, "warmer" temperatues in the winter indicate more cloud cover. Additionally, they go in and out quickly, so they may be there one minute, and gone the next.
