CURRENT MISSION Working on my music and saving up to travel more. ABOUT ME I studied English in university and then traveled round the world for 8 months, stayed with loads of people in so many countries and I'd like to give something back to the community and help some people out by hosting or just meeting up. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Would like to do more hosting after doing a lot of surfing. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've met some great people while couchsurfing and it's quite special to be part of such an international community.

I like art films, indie films, and documentaries. Some directors I'm into are Stanley Kubrick, Richard Linklater, Woody Allen, The Coen Brothers, and Terry Gilliam. I'm crazy about music and I'll usually find something to enjoy in any musical niche. But I'm really into traditional folk music, prog and psych rock, and stuff that just sounds weird. Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Jethro Tull, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Elliott Smith, Tom Waits, Aphex Twin, Incredible String Band, the Kinks, They Might Be Giants, Pink Floyd I like Dylan Thomas, Franz Kafka, Hermingway, David Foster-Wallace, Kurt Vonnegut, Ray Bradbury, Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast, Haruki Murakami, Ursula LeGuin, J.G.Ballard, Douglas Adams. I also like nonfiction books on esoteric topics. I try to give as much time to reading as I can.

I wrote four albums worth of songs from the age of 17-20. Most of them were terrible, but I learned a lot and I'm glad I did it. Got a couple more nearly finished that are less terrible. Traveled round the world for 8 months
