Hola! I’m Valentina, originally from Colombia, now exploring the world as a beginner digital nomad. I work in digital marketing (SEO) and have a remote job that keeps me busy on weekdays. Before this journey, I studied engineering, philosophy —so yes, I’m a bit of a curious mix between tech and humanities. I’m also a bookworm and a language lover 📖 I recently lived in Malta for three months to study English, and now I’m continuing my travels around the Balkans. I’m happiest when surrounded by nature, especially in the mountains (I grew up near them), and I love long hikes, good stories, and spontaneous moments. Couchsurfing for me is a way to understand a country beyond Google—through conversations, traditions, and tips you don’t find in guidebooks.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
Because I truly value cultural exchange. I don’t just want to see places—I want to understand how people live, what they love, and how I can learn from it. I’d also love to improve my English while helping others with Spanish, I’m pretty good at explaining grammar and idioms—plus, I have some fun Colombian expressions to share 😉
音乐、电影与书籍
My favorite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. I’m also deeply inspired by Arthur Schopenhauer’s reflections, especially The Art of Growing Old, The Art of Being Happy, and The Art of Living.
教学、学习、分享
I can teach Spanish (both formal and conversational), especially useful expressions from Colombia. Since I studied philosophy, I enjoy deep conversations, language tips, and storytelling. I’d love to learn more English—especially casual, everyday expressions—and explore local customs, foods, and places from your perspective.
我能与房东分享的
A friendly and respectful guest who’s happy to chat, cook something simple, share travel stories, help you with your Spanish, or just give you space. If you like nature, literature, or quiet evenings with good conversation—we’ll probably get along well 😊
