I have done some traveling and I am tired of the same old hostel experience..Sometimes you end up spending all your time in the hostel or just talking to people you meet that are also traveling, which is fun too, but you don't actually get to interact with the local people. I would like to have a taste of what it is really like to live in a place and get the perspective of someone who grew up there rather than just doing what the guy at the front desk recommends everyone to go do. I hope to gain a worthwhile experience using Couchsurfing & create memories that will last me for a lifetime..

Hmm hard one, there's lots! for music...it really depends on my mood- I like a broad range of music..world music-from folk to latin to reggae to hiphop...I really like ayla nereo & rising appalachia...the list goes on..& i like discovering new music!
