I am Verena, currently 25 years young and I study linguistics and cultural studies, but basically I am always busy figuring out which could be my next opportunity to go abroad to get to know new places, new cultures and above all: new, open-minded and easy-going people! I am soon finished with my Master's and therefore I still want to take the advantage of travelling in Central America before having to start working for real. I love to do sports, I run and play tennis and also really am starting to get to love yoga more and more, and i would describe myself as a very open-minded and above all talkative person. I like it to get out of my comfort zone and to explore other places!

I am couchsurfing because I think it is really just THE best opportunity to get to know amazing people while travelling. Above that, I guess that it is also the best opportunity to really get to know another culture!

Crossing 21 kms of Mexico's biggest cave system (by swimming in its river and walking by the rivers cave "beach") at night (which we didnt notice because its totally dark anyways). The whole experience, including the people who went with me, was just amazing.
