Hey! I'm Vince from The Netherlands and 24 years old. Ever since I was a kid, I've loved the outdoors. My parents always went camping with me in the South of France during the summer break. I think this initially created a hunger for traveling in me! When I grew a little older I wanted to explore the world. That led to the most Dutch hollidays ever: Cycling to Berlin (from my hometown, Nijmegen), Budapest and around Belgium. Apart from that, I've traveled to Albania, Dominican Republic, Budapest (again), Bulgaria, Portugal, UK and Spain. As you can see, there is so much more to discover for me! Furthermore, I'm positive minded, meaning that I can always find joy or learn from situations. What I've liked the most from my travels is meeting new people and learning a lot about the culture that I'm unaware of. I think my positive and outgoing mindset has helped me find this.

I think Couchsurfing has just a great vibe. There are a lot of people that want to discover the world and do that in the best possible way. For me that 'best possible way' is meeting people and therefore learning a lot about the country that I'm in! Couchsurfing has brought people together in the purest way possible.

Music: Dont get me started! I grew up with oldschool rock/metal bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and ACDC. After highschool I started listening to System of a Down, Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, Red hot chili peppers and Korn. But when I started University my music taste was getting broader and broader and now my favourite artists are Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, RHCP and David Bowie, Bon Iver and Nils Frahm, Grandbrothers. And yet have to discover so much more! Movies: Into the Wild, The Big Lebowski, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, Her, Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, No country for old men, Cast away, Forest Gump.
