I've been a software engineer for 20 years, now I'm a newbie farmer. I moved from St. Petersburg, Russia to an abandoned provincial village, with some likeminded people we're making it an ecovillage, building a sustainable community. I love trees, I grow them and plant them in large quantities, trying to revive local ecosystem depleted by years of kolhozing. We're in Kovalevka villlage, 30 km away from Sebezh; 69 km of the A117 road (Opochka-Minsk). 我为什么使用Couchsurfing
We love to meet new people and hear their stories. We have a camping, which works from April until October. We usually have people from Russia, foreigners often join us too. We're mostly into wwoofing (farmstay and foor in exchange for help). Travellers can stay with us for a few days for free, without working.
