My name is in Ukranian, however, I am American. My family kept up with the traditions here in the coal region of North East, Pennsylvania, USA. I came back home to care for my aging mother. I sang in a gospel choir in San Francisco at GLIDE Memoral United Methodist Church. Cecil Williams developed empowerment theology in the 1960's. His wife is poet Janice Mirikitani. Christians, Jews, Atheists, Gays, Wiccan, Buddhists, night club singers, and more deliciously eccentric folk clapped and rocked back and forth. Accomponied by a jazz band that was out all night playing a gig. Hillary Clinton and Sharon Stone spoke and attended when thy were in town. Other political and entertainment personalities did as well. The highlight was when Maya Angelou spoke and called us, the choir, heroes and sheroes.

Rarely do I drink alcohol, but when I do I appreciate a quality cocktail. I like to dance at a club, it's been a while, or go out to a bar or restaurant. I like Queer Culture.
