ABOUT ME -I love learning languages, and I love learning about foreign cultures. -Raised as a military kid, so moved every 2 years. -I lived in Tajikistan for 2 years - studying Tajik while helping at orphanages. -Came back to America, got married, and worked as an ice cream server and ESL teacher. -Moved to Turkey in late spring 2014, studied Turkish for 2 years and worked as a translator. -Lived in Shymkent, Kazakhstan in 2017, studying Kazakh. -Lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota 2018-March 2019, for further studies in Intercultural Studies. -Lived in Eskisehir, Turkey in March 2019 to continue with my job as a travel journalist. -Moved to Istanbul in March 2020 and studied to get my degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
