My name is Will and my girlfriend (Audrey) and I quit our Monday to Friday 9-5 jobs to travel and meet as many new and interesting people as we can. I'm a former lumberyard manager in Oregon and Audrey is a Kindergarten teacher. We met living on the Pacific coast of Oregon in the town of Seaside. Our adventures took us to Portland, OR where we have lived for the last year. After living in the city for a year we realized that we wanted a bigger adventure. One where we could broaden our horizons and really get to experience more. The only way we saw we could do that was by traveling to new places, meeting new people with different views and experiencing and learning about cultures and norms that are different than ours.

I'm an extrovert who loves to meet new people and have interesting conversations. My previous traveling experiences have been blessed with meeting interesting and friendly people that have been able to share about their home and culture. I feel that I have a lot to contribute to that and to get to build connections that can span across the globe. Audrey and I are looking forward to traveling to new places. However, what we want most from this next year is to meet as many local people as we can so that we can really experience and learn about the culture of the places we are traveling to. We also want to build real relationships and make friends across all the places we visit so that we can understand more about the world and also have friends that want to visit us wherever we are. That's why couch surfing appeals to us. Because you can build real genuine relationships wherever you travel
