My name is Yolan and I'm currently doing an exchange in Montreal, Canada. I'm studying Biomedical Engineering in the university of Leuven, and Polytechnique Montreal. I love learning new things. I practice snowboarding in the winter, and in the summer it's surfing time! (When I'm not hitchhiking or exploring ofcourse.) Later I want to make a difference to the lives of my friends and family. Went to Tanzania for three months to make local beekeepers economically viable. This was an eye opening experience. The project definitely succeeded. Maybe this was partially because I learned to speak some basics of Swahili. Communication is indeed a very important aspect of life.
