Its a great way to meet new people and friends! Get a chance to see new places like the locals do (not a big fan of the typical touristic stuff 24/7 during my travels) and to show my cities to new people!

Hiked up Morro dos Irmaos, a smaller mountain in the middle of a favela in Rio. Got to the top, touched the clouds and went down halfway until I found the Egyptian people I had lost on the way. Tried going back to the top again with them, but my legs wouldn't carry me, so I waited in the forest, watching the favela from above. By this time, it was ready late and dark. Of course this was a little dangerous, but sometimes I do stuff without thinking it through properly. Finally, the Arabs decided to come back down 1,5 hours later and we walked the jungle unable to see where we put our feet. We listened to Indian music on the way down and I was so content. Eventually we reached the ground, took the wrong bus back, and ended up eating Thai food in a mall.
