Hey, I am keen to do a roadtrip with hiking along the way from around Auckland/Hamilton - New Plymouth - Wellington. Keen to Couchsurfing & or camp for accomodation too. Happy to share fuel prices. I’m not the best cook but can help out there too how I can if needed. List of hikes from “All trails” app I have in mind; Auckland/Hamilton - Okato (Pokeno park loop 2.4km? A couple lakes near Huntley around 3km each?) Te airinga lagoon 2.1km Kainui lake loop 3.2km Lake rotokauri 3.5km (Hamilton lake domain 3.7km? Hamilton gardens 2.3km? University of Waikato 1.8km? Lake ngaroto walkway 6km?) Mount pirongia via tirohanga & mahaukura tracks 15.4km Kakepuku track 7km (If we are going the roads to Aotea &/or Taharoa/Marokopa, I have some in mind) Mangaotaki walk 1km ~New Ply~ Walkway to bell block 3.7km (Pukeura park 4km? Tupare garden 1km?) Araheke bush 2.1km Paritutu rock Barrett lagoon loop track 1.9km Ratapihipihi scenic 1.6km Matekai park loop 1.3km Stones river walkway 4.2km
