Brunch Picnic at Toronto Island

Once again, I will be in Toronto on my birthday weekend trying to have fun and get to do some activities while I´m spending time in the city and of course meet other csfers. So let´s have fun meeting at Centre Island (Toronto Islands) for a brunchy picnic! Let´s enjoy Toronto little getaway with a short ferry ride and an amazing views from the city skyline. Pick up something you share whether it´s pastries, bread and cheese, bagels, or brunch, drinks etc. The sky´s is the limit in terms of what is considered a brunch food – get creative! You could bring plates, cups, paper towels and cutlery, make sure you don´t leave any trash behind. Bring: - Food and drinks - Sunscreen - Blanket - Water! Stay hydrated - Swimsuit (Just in case) - Good attitude - If you´d like, bring entertainment in the form of a game, a musical instrument, a story, music speakers, etc. Note. If you don´t have the time to pack a lunch, there are some places in the island where you could buy food or drinks. How to go: To get to the Toronto Island you need to ferry on the Jack Lyton Ferry Terminal. It cost $9.11, a 15-minute ride and it runs every half an hour. The meeting point will be on Olympic Island at 1pm located in the Centre Island by the colored chairs. The last ferry leaves from the island at 8pm (There are also some water taxis afterhours but for a price of $12 for person) If you are new on CouchSurfing or just in the city for those days this would be a good event to get to know people in the community. I have many stories to tell. Ps. For those who want to meet the night before (Friday, May 31st) I will go to Sneaky Dee´s (431 College Street) to have dinner and then to the Emo night to listen and dance to all this classic emo anthems on the second floor. Beers are $6 until midnight and tickets could be bought online or at the door. General admission $15 *If anyone is attending to Khruangbin (American indie rock band) concert let me know, I haven´t decide either going that saturday or sunday night.
