Cologne Carnival 2026 SUN 15 02 DAY RODENKIRCHEN

Party Carnival in the Veedel (district/neighborhood) as the Cologneans do 　 　✖　 　 　 LOCATION: In front of the COMMERZBANK - Maternusstraße 8-10 - 50996 Köln / RODENKIRCHEN 　 　✖　 　 　 On Sunday we'll take our CS'ers to Rodenkirchen in Cologne's South ( https://www.koeln.de/karneval/umzuege/karnevalszug-rodenkirchen/ ), leaving from our place just a bit north of Dom/HBF by 1pm to arrive at the Commerzbank on Maternusplatz in Köln-Rodenkirchen by 2pm (YES - with streets closed and all that jazz it will take that long!!!), to party Carnival the way it's done in all of Cologne's districts: watch the local parade ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/rLA8thT9DKpD3z418 ) to catch lots of sweets and Strüßjer [ StrÜssJair ] (little bunch of flowers)! So make sure you're equipped with bags for that and enough of "Kölsch" (bottles) for yourself! Though there are also a couple of places nearby selling Kölsch and also some fast food joints and street vendors selling pizza or steak and sausages in rolls etc. 　 Later that evening we together with some of our CS'ers (and whoever else dares to join us) will go to party on very, very, VERY differently at the KitKatClub @ Bootshaus ("Carnival 2026 SUN 15 02 EVE KitKatClub@Bootshaus" - ☞!ⒻⒾⓃⒹ ⒶⓁⓁ ⒸⓈ&ⒻⒷ-ⓁⒾⓃⓀⓈ ⒷⒺⓁⓄⓌ!☜), pre-partying for that at our flat in Nippes (Eichstr. 44, 50739 Cologne) from about 7:30pm on. We won't stay for toooooooooo long, though, since we have to GET UP RATHER EARLY the next morning!
