CS Estonia/Latvia friendship adventure weekend

Having lived in the Baltics and explored Estonian/Latvian culture for nearly 5 years and after having organised a CouchSurfing Estonian/Latvian friendship event with Finnish and Lithuanian guests here in Tartu, Estonia (https://www.couchsurfing.com/events/20th-ultra-relaxation-sauna-therapy-event-tex-mex), it's time to finally organise the first official one in Latvia, again uniting my friends from these two wonderful countries, which share many more virtues and traditions than people would think, especially because of the strong Latvian Livonian heritage (a Finnic nation like the Estonians), both nations' German/Swedish and powerful viking (the Oeselians and Curonians) past. I have first invited friends to join the FB event (both CouchSurfing and non-CouchSurfing friends) and now that the event has taken shape and drawn enough people interested to start, I would like to open to doors to anybody who would like to join! I again welcome Estonia's northern language brothers, the Finns and Latvia's southern language brothers, the Lithuanians, to join us in a Baltic adventure! Many of our guests from the last event stayed in Tartu with local hosts and guides I coordinated through CouchSurfing. Amongst those participating there will be the possibility to stay in real Latvian homes with real Latvian guides during the weekend. I'll help as many as I can to get this unique experience, as well as a reference from your host, which will enable you to repeat the experience somewhere else in the world you want to travel to or motivate fascinating world-travellers to stay in your own home. The point of common ancestry we will be celebrating first and foremostly, again, is the sauna/pirts tradition in the form of the most advanced and professional sauna techniques available (common to Latvia and Estonia), offering all the opportunities to discover something that many people have long forgotten, the true power of sauna unleashed. The priority of this event is for Estonians and Latvians to rediscover the true strength of their common cultural institution together as experts from both countries (Jan Seepter and Daiga Liepa) demonstrate the wise ancient techniques that have long been forgotten by most and its most important effect: the absolute peace of the body's most natural ecstasy, therefore creating the perfect stage for intercultural dialogue between both nations. People will be welcome equally regardless of whether they want to try out the technique or not or simply come to see how it's done and learn how it works so that they may apply its principles in their homes. 2 more optional adventures will be available on this weekend: A. A total of 4 hours featuring a strategic World War II paintball adventure in a fantasy field with buildings recreating a true battlefield of the time, as well as a survivor game (Saturday the 12th from 13:00-17:00). In between the paintball and survivor events, participants will be able to enjoy a barbecue. B. A special gourmet ice cream tasting, with a 5-course meal, in one of the best Latvian restaurants right in the heart of Riga (menu on the FB page). The non-local visitors will get a chance to visit the fantastic riviera of Jurmala and the breathtaking castles of Sigulda, both a short distance from Riga, as well as the capital city. In all these places we will provide support and guidance from friendly locals. For more information, please get in touch with me and I will give you the full information.
