There are security checks and you're officially not allowed to bring food and (alcoholic) drinks. However, in the past years, the security people were very relaxed and only took a quick glance at your backpack. You can also buy food & drinks inside the festival area, of course. Additionally, there will be drinking water fountains throughout the festival area, so maybe bring an empty bottle for refilling. Umbrellas (also small foldable ones) are NOT allowed. Bring a rain jacket or poncho instead! Backpacks are allowed, as long as they are not too big (i.e. cabin / hand luggage size).
