this is to announce another concert in our living-room. The concert will take place on Saturday, June 22nd, open doors from 7 pm on (the actual concert not starting before 8 pm). If you love a good old mix of folk, indie and a hint of French chanson, you definitely have to check out Bridget and the Goldfish (NL). As the mandolin and the guitar fluidly melt together, they create a sense of playfulness yet also melancholy that takes you on a journey through Europe and America. Bridget van Zundert, lead singer and guitarist, writes her songs in English, French and occasionally in Spanish, languages she picked up while traveling the world. She passionately brings you the stories of her adventures. She’s joined by David Cornelissen on mandolin, flute and banjo, by Roeland Uijtdewilligen on percussion, by Rens van Dijk on standing bass, and Annamaria Bomborova on backing vocals.
