What to Bring ✅ Required Items: Food & snacks (for yourself and to share with others) Water, alcohol, and other drinks (for yourself and to share with others) ✅ Highly Recommended Items: Picnic Mat: It’s common in Japan to sit on a picnic mat during hanami (cherry blossom viewing). It will make you more comfortable and help prevent your clothes from getting dirty if the ground is damp from rain. If you don’t bring one, it might be seen as ignoring Japanese culture, and your clothes may get quite dirty during your travels. Rules & Etiquette 🚯 Take Your Trash with You – In Japan, it’s common to take your trash home if no trash bins are available. 🎵 No Loud Music – Please refrain from bringing speakers or playing loud music, as it may disturb others. 🌳 Do Not Climb Trees – Climbing trees is prohibited. 🚨 Respect Japanese Culture – Please adhere to the meeting times and respect local customs, even if they differ from your own. Event Flow Relax and enjoy the event! Feel free to come directly and join the event. If you can’t find anyone, just enjoy hanami at your own pace. You are free to leave whenever you like.
