Hike to Jabal Thawr after Duhr Prayer رحلة إلى جبل

Please note this Event is Crossposted in more then this Plattform What to expect: Embark on a journey of reflection and connection as we hike to the historic Jabal Thawr, also known as Mount Thawr, after Duhr prayer. This moderate 4.4 km hike will take approximately 2 hours to complete. We'll begin at the Masjid Albukhary and follow a scenic path that leads us to the peak of Jabal Thawr, where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) sought refuge during their Hijra. Along the way, we'll have the opportunity to contemplate the significance of this sacred site and connect with our faith. The panoramic views from the summit are simply breathtaking, offering a unique perspective of Mecca. We'll maintain a comfortable pace with ample breaks for rest and reflection. What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes Water bottle Prayer mat (optional) A sense of reverence and curiosity After the hike: For those interested, we'll gather at a local restaurant to share a meal and conversation. It's a wonderful chance to connect with fellow hikers and reflect on our shared experience. It's entirely optional, so feel free to join us if you'd like! About your host: I'm visiting Saudi Arabia for the 3. time and eager to explore the beautiful landscapes and rich history of this holy land. I organize weekly hikes in Germany and am excited to share this passion with you here in Mecca. This event is free of charge and offered with a spirit of community and shared exploration. Getting there: We'll meet at the Masjid Albukhary after Duhr prayer. The exact meeting point will be shared closer to the date. Important notes: This hike is open to people of all fitness levels.
