Hi everyone. I'm planning a hike from Tournan to Verneuil-l’Etang (eastern suburbs of Paris). It should be easy and considering weather condition not that messy. 22km, about 5 hours of walking, 1 hours for lunch. You can see the trail here: http://www.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/view.do?id=14162574 Bring appropriate hiking or sport shoes (preferrably waterproof). Bring warm and waterproof clothes, optionally gloves and hat. Bring water and lunch. There might be some places where you could buy some food but i can not guarantee it. Transport and Possible schedule: -------------------------------- Free for Monthly Navigo Card owners. Around 11 euros for a two way ticket. Around 1 hour by train to go to Tournan and 40 to return to Paris from Verneuil -Departure from HAUSSMANN ST LAZARE at 9h21 with line E in direction of VILLIERS SUR MARNE; -Arrival in Tournan at 10h28; -Departure of the hike at 10h40; -End of the hike is expected by 17h (add 40 minutes to get back to Paris by train P ). Train to Paris (Gare de L'est leaves every hour, at 17h32, 18h32, 19h32 and so on Meeting point: -------------- Meeting point will be AT THE HEAD of train near the yellow "ALARM" pole numbered 7151.
