Kadıköy Turkish & English Conversation Meeting

This meeting is organized by Marla (Marla_and_Onur) & Mehmet (genuinely34) These weekly Turkish & English conversation meetings have been held regularly since March 8, 2012. DON'T FORGET TO REGISTER IMPORTANT Everyone must pay 10TL when they arrive at the cafe. Each person will get a paper ticket worth 10TL and you can spend this money on food and drinks during the meeting. If you don't spend 10TL, you will not get your money back, so make sure to get your money's worth. 10TL per person is the minimum cost for the cafe to stay in business, as they kindly reserve the entire top floor for our group and can not have any customers in that area while we have our meeting. 10TL is a great deal, because we have our own private room in the cafe for 3 hours and it's a nice location! Hem lokasyon hem de yaklasik 3 saat boyunca bize ozel yer ayrilmasi acisindan 10 TL oldukca ideal bir para miktari gozukuyor. Herkese verdikleri destek ve haftalik etkinligimizin devam etmesine olanak sagladiklari icin tesekkurler! As a reminder, there is only room for 50 people to attend our weekly meetings because of the location! Priority will first be given to everyone who registers for the event! There are some rules that we need to follow to be able to stay at our new location for a long time: • Smoking is only allowed in the back garden. Do not smoke outside in front of the café. • There is no alcohol sold at the café. If you want to drink alcohol, please wait until after our meeting is finished at 10:30pm. • Please do not go outside to purchase any food or drinks during the meeting. • For our group, the café is self service, so please order and pay at the counter, with your ticket. The quality is very good and the prices are very reasonable, especially for this area. IMPORTANT: PLEASE REGISTER You will only be allowed to enter the meeting if you register, so JOIN this meeting now! We will check your name at the door when you enter. This is really important! If you want to bring a guest, please let us know or write their name on the event page so we can add them to the list. If you can’t attend, please LEAVE the group, so someone else can attend! Thank you for understanding!!! Kadıköy Turkish-English Conversation Group is a regular weekly group that meets every Thursday night from 7:30pm-10:30pm in Kadıköy. This group is a wonderful opportunity to practice and improve your Turkish and English conversational skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Remember that this is not a social group or a party. This is a language exchange meeting and our intention is to practice speaking both English and Turkish in a relaxed and friendly environment. *SCHEDULE* 7:30pm-8pm: arrival and open conversation (in any language) 8pm-9pm: ONLY ENGLISH! 9pm-10pm: ONLY TURKISH! 10pm-10:30pm conversation in Turkish or English.
