Krewe du Vieux

Krewe du Vieux, Mardi Gras' bawdiest satirical parade, has a new route in 2026. Instead of heading from the Marigny toward Uptown, it will proceed from the Marigny then make a loop through the French Quarter. ROUTE : https://www.kreweduvieux.org/parade.html Both the WWL and WDSU parade tracker apps have now been updated. This new route passes directly alongside my house. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. (I have no idea what time it will pass outside here.) Expect major traffic and parking chaos beforehand (park in Treme). Feel free to come early to pre-game and hang. You can even bring folding chairs and coolers to set up outside along the side of the house—which is directly on the parade route. It's Krewe du Vieux with bathroom access! ;-) BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) of alcohol/ beer Please bring snacks to share - wings - pizza - king cake - fried chicken - hummus, dips, fruit - chips etc. I will provide bottled water, mixers, ice, and some snacks too.
