About

Namsangol Hanok Village opened in 1998 on the northern side of Namsan Mountain in the center of the capital. This village has five restored hanok (traditional Korean house) premises, a pavilion, a traditional garden, a performance art stage, and a time capsule plaza, making it a perfect spot for locals and tourists to take a leisure walk. The lengthy trail taking a wide sweep around Namsan Mountain while being known for its particularly scenic landscape during the autumn season, earned the name, "Autumn Trail" some years ago. There are a total of four distinct courses, including Namsan Southern Walking Path, Namsan Northern Walking Path, Sowol-ro, and Namsan Outdoor Botanical Garden. Tteokbokki is a popular snack for Koreans of all ages. It has won the hearts of numerous foreign visitors as well.
