Hi everyone, The idea of this event is: each one brings ingredience for one dish for amount of roughly 3 or 4 people so everyone can have a tast of each dish (can be starter, main, dessert etc) or bring the cooked dish, but main idea is to cook together and learn about favorit recipes and cooking skills while exchanging stories and laughters. Meet locals and travelers alike. The café has a full functioning kitchen with all utensils, cookware that you may need as well as pots and pans. There is an oven and a microwave to cook or heat up your food. Basic ingredients as oil, vinegar and basic spices are also available. There is a Supermarket LIDL also across the street. Cafe Maggie is an unusual place, not a cafe in the commercial sense, but a community center opening its doors to the neighboorhood to meet each other. A home for a good group of people in a big city. Come and see it for yourself, we have enjoyed all evenings there! From 6PM to 10PM We usually start eating around 8pm, so please plan your arrival time so you have enough cooking time. We need to leave all clean by 10pm. If you arrive, you will find us in the back in the kitchen, at the bar, or ask the barkeeper. TIPS: • BYO drinks • Keep in mind some people may be allergic, so share info about your ingrediences (btw usually there is a natural mix of veggie and meat options) This is a free event. The kitchen has plenty of space, with extra tables and chairs if needed, we all cook, chat and share dinner together. Some stay in Berlin and we become friends, others keep travelling and enjoyed a evening shraing stories. After we finish we all contribute by helping to clean everything so we leave no trace behind. This is a community event and the only thing expected is to share and help. No rasism, homophobia or other kinds of discrimination.
