EVENT IN A NUTSHELL: Come around to meet a varied mix of locals, travelers and expats for a nice chat and a drink! VENUE: GREASE MONKEY BAR. This meeting used to frequent this particular venue for years. They had a technical stop and are back this summer. It is a nice sci-fi themed concept bar, crafted by the owners. With movie theater chairs and lockers for backpackers if need be. Coordinates: 47.50226090390356, 19.055977213493534 🎯 After entering the venue check the first room to find the CS group. There are CS signs on the tables usually. ⛅🌓 🌘 ☁️ EVENT DURATION: 20:00 - 23:30 / 8PM to past 11.30PM! (if the group is vigorous, we can stay longer) 🌶️🛞🏃DIRECTIONS: Whether you come from Deák tér / Andrássy út (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE AVENUE) or from Arany János utca, you will find the place easily. It is in the VI. district not far from the yellow subway line (Opera station) and the blue subway (metro) junction in the city center next to Szent István Bazilika. Suggestion: subway or walk! *** Dear fellow CSers, Welcome to the Regular Tuesday meeting of Budapest. This events has become a great tradition, and has now been running for 15+ years! It is a non-profit event preserving classic Couchsurfer aspects. Presentations, nice tips and local history lessons regarding Budapest if need be! You questions will be answered by the event host / organizer + regular attendees inhabiting this beautiful city! THE CS TUESDAY AND IT'S HISTORY: The original founder back in the late 2000s was András Földvári - one of the most experienced Hungarian travellers, collecting visits to airports and landing on more than 900+ spots by now -.
