PLEASE!!! don`t smoke and don`t make a noise near the entrance of the cafe...people live around If you`d like to SMOKE - be kind and cross the street ====================================================== Welcome to the CS Weekly meeting :) DIRECTIONS: art-cafe Eastern Africa (Africa-2), Pechatnika Grigoryeva street, 13 (арт-кафе Восточная Африка, улица Печатника Григорьева, 13) Yandex Map: https://yandex.ru/maps/-/CVTtVSoz Google Map: http://goo.gl/maps/XEl4T The closest metro stations are Obvodny Kanal (a violet line of the metro) or Ligovskiy prospect (an orange line of the metro) It takes you about 7-10 minutes to go from the metro exit to the cafe. HOW TO GET to the cafe from OBVODNY KANAL: Go out from the metro station Obvodny Kanal (a violet line of the metro), -cross the river Obvodniy Canal and a road (this road is a part of Embankment of Obvodniy Canal) by pedastrian crossing!!!, be very CAREFUL!!! so you`ll be just in front of the house number 79, there is a big picture on the house 79. -Turn left and go along the river till the first street (you will pass strange metall constraction). It`ll be Voronejskaya street, cross this street and you`ll be near the house number 15-17. -Turn right and go along Voronejskaya street till the house number 3 (you will pass the house with a sign "Ingosstrakh", so the next house is number 3). And you`ll be on the corner of Voronejskaya street and Pechatnika Grigoryeva street. -Just a few steps to the left and you`ll see a yellow sign with red letters "АФРИКА" and colourful Graffiti on the house 13. HOW TO GET to the cafe from LIGOVSKIY PROSPECT: Go out from the metro station Ligovskiy prospect (an orange line of the metro), cross Ligovskiy prospect by underground passage (use the last exit on the left), -go along Ligovskiy prospect to the left till the FIRST (DON`T MISS IT) small street (it will be Ostropol`skiy pereulok), -turn right to Ostropol`skiy pereulok and go along it a few metres till Pechatnika Grigoryeva street, -turn left to Pechatnika Grigoryeva street and go along the street till the house number 13. There`s a yellow sign with red letters "АФРИКА" and colourful Graffiti on the house number 13 . A few steps down - and You are in the cafe "Africa". TO FIND US IN THE CAFE: from the entrance go straight, pass a room and a bar-counter and the last room will be booked for us (look for a banner "COUCHSURFING"). ABOUT the place: This place is very good for eating and drinking and chatting :) You can check the menu at the site but only in Russian (beer costs 150-190 rub/0.5l, wine - from 180 rub/0.2l, coffee - from 80 rub, tea - from 120 rub, a lot of cocktails and tasty, not expensive food) http://art-afrika.ru/ HOW TO ORDER: You should order at the bar counter. There`s a menu in English but the staff might not speak English so, please, don`t hesitate to ask locals for the help :) Usually they accept credit cards. SMOKING: It`s not allowed to smoke inside any bars/cafes. You can smoke outside but, please, don`t be very noisy, people live in the houses around :) It`s a pity but Africa WORKS only till 11 p.m. but if You`d like to go on - there are a lot of bars not far from Africa... ====================================================== I'm very glad to invite You to take part in our CS meeting on Thursdays.
