A little about my experience: This is an annual River Dye event, and I’ve been participating for two years in a row. The first year, I was just in the crowd—it wasn’t as fun because all the real action was happening on the river. In 2025, I was on a boat, but we were standing and waiting most of the time while the river dyeing finished—it was better than being in the crowd, but still not ideal. In 2026, my goal is to find the best boats that are actually part of the river dyeing process, so we can enjoy the action the whole time. Important details: Tickets sell out very quickly—usually in early January. I’ll monitor ticket availability and send the link as soon as they go on sale. Everyone buys their own ticket.
